The Story of At Easel Art
Where Creativity Meets Community...
What began with a simple paint-and-sip experience in 2018 grew into a passion for sharing art with others. Through creative workshops, community events, and hands-on art education, artist Michelle Isaksen has helped students of all ages discover the joy of creating.
From first-time painters to young artists finding their creative voices, At Easel Art celebrates exploration, imagination, and the belief that creativity belongs to everyone.

Kids had a blast at both!

Meet the Artist | Michelle Isaksen
Michelle is an Oregon-based fine artist whose work celebrates the beauty of everyday life through color, movement, and imagination. Working primarily in acrylics and oils, she creates expressive paintings ranging from vibrant landscapes and figurative works to whimsical characters and imaginative scenes. Joy is at the heart of Michelle's creative philosophy. Through bold color, rich texture, expressive movement, and storytelling, she seeks to create artwork that uplifts the spirit and invites viewers to discover beauty, wonder, and connection. Michelle's artwork can be found in local businesses and at public landmarks throughout the Salem area. An active advocate for the arts, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Silverton Arts Association, supporting opportunities for artistic expression, education, and community engagement. Her passion for sharing creativity extends to teaching workshops, mentoring young artists, and encouraging people of all ages to explore their artistic potential. Guided by gratitude and a desire to serve others, Michelle believes creativity is both a gift to be cultivated and a joy to be shared. Beyond the easel, Michelle enjoys life in Oregon with her husband, their eight children, and the family dog. As a homeschooling mother, she finds inspiration in everyday moments, meaningful connections, and the beauty of the world around her.
